WHAT HE WON'T SAY!

President Obama delivering his remarksImage by House Committee on Education and Labor via Flickr

The much awaited speech to a joint session of Congress by the President will take place tonight.
Robert Gibbs has said “Lines in the sand will be drawn.”. Will there be a warning to “Blue Dogs” to get back in line? Is there a warning to Republicans that we will go it alone? Reporters want to know, what will President Obama say to clarify the debate and bring about this legislation?

Well they can speculate all they want, but I know what he won't say.

He won't Say: I will not raise taxes to support my program. That will not only include personal income taxes but taxes on goods and services provided to the public. No luxury tax, sin tax, you name it, none.

He won't say: There will be no government run public option on the table. The government is not going to be in the insurance business other than to try and fix the existing Medicare and Medicaid programs, not expand them.

He won't say: There is a serious need for tort reform in the medical profession and must be included in any form of legislation that arrives at his desk.

He won't say: The government is not in the business of providing for those who are in this country illegally.

He won't say: I am not going to give the unions a cheap government option on health care to help them out with their duties and commitments to their existing and retired members.

The list can go on and on, I'll let others take it from here. I'm tired. And so are the American people. The Economy is a wreck, the stimulus plan is failing, your money wasted, and now they tell us that the tax money spent on saving the Auto industry, the money that would be paid back to the taxpayer...well were sorry but that won't happen either. Another Liberal handout to benefit a few and not the whole. Now, tonight we can listen to an impassioned plea to revive legislation to pass a bill that will cost the American taxpayer untold amounts of money, create a new bureaucracy that siphons off dollars faster than it can pick them up and will stand up there with the other government success stories...the U.S. Postal System, Medicare / Medicaid, and Social Security.

Enough is enough and the elections in 2010 are fast approaching. Those who hold the reins of power now have done enough destruction to last for decades and it's time to put a stop to government interference and halt this move toward Socialism. This is America, not Europe!
