LIBERAL LEFT: "ELITIST BULLIES"

Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." It's a quote that has worked itself into the Liberals playbook of politics. Although they may use it out of context, it suits their purpose and explains the way things work in their system. Disregard the reality of the situation and imagine it to be the fault of someone or something else.

To the Obama Administration and the Democrats it falls into four standard categorical answers. Each one used separately or in conjunction with the others to explain away their mistakes or blunders. In the case of a huge blunder they use all four:

1. It's Bush's fault.
2. Misinformation from radio or television.
3. Republican interference.
4. It's racist.

The recent failure of the Olympics presentation by the President has now prompted the Rev. Jesse Jackson and others to blame the mission failure on number 1, President Bush. Number 4 is in waiting if the Bush excuse fails to satisfy the population. The charges aren't really garnering a lot of support, it's more of a way to pacify the crushed hearts and souls of the faithful. But the liberal left is a resourceful bunch, and just as they view the Constitution as a living breathing document, subject to change, so does this list. The way things are going for them, at the end of four years the list will have grown to fill more pages than their health care legislation.

This is a political party that has never come to grips with reality. Their failure individually or as a whole has always been due to a vast right wing conspiracy, (number 3), or due to fear mongers spreading lies and false information,(number 2). When all is lost, logic is tossed aside and number 4, it's racist, is spewed across the airwaves to rally the base. Never does it seem to enter their minds that people may not like what their proposing. This is a group that is so arrogant, so condescending toward individuals, they would force their beliefs and lifestyle on others simply because they believe it is the right thing to do. In short they are nothing more than "elitist bullies".

This is the party that wants to eliminate the bully from the school yard, the image of America as being the bully of the world, the "haves" from being a bully to the "have nots". In order to do this they resort to the same tactics they despise. Of course when you believe your superior to those around you it never seems that way. Tax and regulate is the way to a better life and country.

If you have any doubt as to what I say as being true, just look what is happening with health care legislation. If they don't get what they want out of Republicans, then Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will gladly go against the wants of the American public and employ their nuclear option.
They simply will write their own bill, put what they want in it, and send it on to the President.
The voice of the American taxpayer doesn't matter. What matters is that they are right and you are misinformed. We do this because it's what we want and because we can.

Sounds pretty much like we're dealing with a bully and it's time to cut him down to size.
Vote Republican in 2010 and 2012. In the meantime keep calling and writing the representatives in Congress and remind them of those polling dates.

Addendum 10/06/1009: My good friend R.J. in Charleston, S.C. emailed with another example to the "elitist bullies" label. One of the best examples of this is being displayed by the State of Massachusetts. After realising that if John Kerry won his bid for the presidency, their Republican Governor, Mitt Romney, could appoint a Republican successor to his seat in the Senate. The Democrats quickly passed a law which would forbid this and instead called for a special election to be held, thus assuring a Democrat held the post. Now after Ted Kennedy's death, they are quickly changing the law back to the original form so a Democrat can be seated in Ted's place and vote for the health care bill. The special election would have meant one less liberal vote for the Senate to count on. These people love to have their way and have no shame in the manner of how the get it.
Good point R.J. Thanks.
