CIGAR MARINE RUNNING FOR CONGRESS!

Former Marine Nick Popaditch, aka the Cigar Marine, is running for the Republican nomination to challange the incumbent Democrat in the California 51st Congressional race for 2010. He needs your support. The district is heavily Democratic and he faces an uphill struggle but this Marine is one tough opponent. This man is a true war hero, not some "Swift Boat" wannabe. His slogan, "A Marines word is his bond", says it all.

He gained national popularity when he was photographed atop his tank turret smoking a cigar at the fall of Baghdad. Later in the war he was seriously wounded at the Battle of Fallujah, where he almost lost his life and ended up losing an eye.

He later published a book "Once A Marine" describing his experience. It is an inspiring story. He is a dynamic speaker and should have no problem in the political arena. If he makes it to Capitol Hill it could be the best thing to happen out on the 'Left Coast' in years. As for the hand ringing liberals in Congress, the words of George C. Scott from the movie "Patton" come to mind, "I pity the poor bastards, I really do."

Go to Popaditch For Congress and read about the man and make a donation in any amount to his campaign. Your support can help take back our country in 2010.

SEMPER FI, Nick.

  1. Even if you do not live in Nick's 51st District, you can send him a few dollars. Please do so if you can.

What kind of candidate is Gunny Pop? I will tell you, for I know him and his wife well.

Nick is an honest, conservative, old fashioned pro-American, non-apologizing combat-decorated US Marine. Does that help explain who he is? Nick believes in a strong military, strong borders, low taxes, smaller government, and a pro-business, pro-growth (employment) environment. If you liked President Reagan's plain speaking pro-America style, you will love this guy. Nick is the real deal.

If you want to learn more about his character and where he got his values, read his award-winning memoir "Once a Marine" (www.onceamarine.com). It will tell you all you need to know. When you finish, you will want to climb into a tank with him as your commander, or pull the lever for him in November 2010.

Now, jump to www.popaditchforcongress.com and throw this good American a few bucks. Nick can win, and Bob Filner (D) has never had a real opponent. Now he has one.

Here is Gunny the other night on Red Eye: http://www.foxnews.com/search-results/m/27462286/popping-off.htm#q=popaditch.

(Disclaimer: I am the managing director of the publishing company that published Nick's book. I would vote for him anyway, under any circumstance, against any opponent.)
