MEMORIAL DAY REMEMBERANCE

It is said that the members of our armed forces during World War II were our greatest generation and anyone who has even a remote understanding of that period of history would be hard pressed to disagree. However it also needs to be noted that today we have a pretty solid group of young people serving in time of war that deserve their own label of greatness.  The men and women who have volunteered their services to protect and defend our country in the War On Terror.  They put their lives on the line for us and every true American should be grateful for their devotion and dedication.

This Memorial Day please remember our veterans and the fallen of our country's wars both past and present. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  May God bless you, each and every one.

On a personal note: Semper Fidelis to the 2nd Battalion 9th Marines. Godspeed to you all.

  1. Amen to this one my friend. Their sacrifices should never be taken for granted. The men and women that are serving today are great. You hear stories of that greatness everytime you listen to someone talk of something they have done in this war. Photos of them playing with children over there, searching for the enemy....and everything else they do. They handle themselves with the greatest of professionalism and pride. All Americans should be proud of their military.

Thanks for your praise to our troops. There can never be enough given to so many who truly deserve it.
