The administration is prosecuting this war based on their intelligence that there are civil rights as well as human rights being violated openly and aggressively in defiance of federal laws. Their recent sweeps through the state have yet to uncover any hard evidence that supports their theory but according to General Eric Holder, that doesn't mean they are not there. He is positive that sooner or later they will turn up. With the enthusiastic support from Democrats in Congress, he vows to press on.
The Obama Administration has even taken steps to justify their agression to the world by taking their case to the United Nations, outlining in a report the human rights violations Arizona has committed. He hopes to build a strong coalition of multi national forces to assist in the fight. It is rumored that Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, and possibly Iran are on board. The government has taken further steps to warn people about the dangers of this war zone by placing federal signs in areas of southern Arizona that warn citizens not to enter the area or proceed at their own risk! He has even sent National Guard troops to assist in the safe passage of innocents as they migrate back and forth across the border.
The president wants the country to know that he is serious when it comes to states taking the law into their own hands. That's his job along with the federal government and if we have to go to war with Arizona to make the point and keep the rest of the states in line, then that is what he is prepared to do. Speaker Of The House, Nancy Pelosi, has announced that she is starting a congressional investigation of any states or individuals that may be offering support to Arizona's defense. They will be dealt with harshly and under the articles of war will be tried for treason, (in civil court, naturally).
