That thought was in my mind, but our best chance at defeating the Dems is through the GOP. A split ticket would keep the liberals in power in 2012. It also wuold draw away votes needed in the Congressional races. That's what the Democrats want.

WalMart is no longer offering Going Rogue. Until today it was at #1 in Coming Soon. When you put in the title it takes you to a page that directs you to Barnes and Noble. I suspect that may indicate that WalMart has sold its entire allottment of books. If that is the case, the next question would be how many books were allotted to a chain with over 2,500 WalMart stores, and over 580 Sam's Club stores?

I always said that there will be 3 kinds of people buying her book, those who hate her, looking for something to justify or even feed their hatred, those who love her, looking for more reasons to do so, and they will buy multiple copies to give as gifts, and those who will be drawn to it because of the controversy that it is sure to generate. The courious will most likely approach it with an open mind, and many of them will be won over to Palin's side.

It should be remembered that both of 0bama's books sold about 1.44 million combined, Bill Clinton's sold 1.3 million and Hillary's 1.2 million. Palin's book may outsell all of them combined, especially if there is the stuff of great controversy. Even now, with Going Rogue being #1 in non-fiction at both Barnes and Noble and Amazon, #1 at Borders, #1 at WalMart, and #2 at Family Christian Stores, if those numbers hold for another 2 weeks, we may very well hear that the publisher is increasing the initial press run from 1.5 million to 2 million or more.
